At the end of 2019, Giuseppe Stefini and Roberto Cantoni – co-founder and CEO of Invisiblefarm – went to Vietnam to meet Madame Nguyen Thi Than Nhan, president and CEO of AIC Group and her staff.
On their return they told us about their experience.
Q. How did the mission in Vietnam go?
We are very satisfied with our mission in Vietnam. Thanks to TSCAI, we had a meeting with AIC Group, Vietnam’s leading economic development company.
It is not the first time that we meet: we had the honor in Rome last May, where we also met Ing. Gareri, one TSCAI’s Co-founder, and some managers. Following this event, we sent the company technical data sheets relating to services related to the Smart City and our other areas of intervention, namely the training service, the lighting service and the systems for Food Safety.
TSCAI perfectly presented our company and requested a meeting for each of our development areas: we therefore crossed the world in December 2019 and on that occasion we met Madame Nguyen Thi Than Nhan, president and CEO of AIC Group.
At the end of our Vietnamese week, we developed a great interest in their requests and drew conclusions from which emerged the services and products to offer to this country, strongly oriented to the Smart Nation. The next step will be to deepen the technical methodologies to fine-tune our activities and our shortcomings, for example the language or the adaptation of some software to the Vietnamese market, and then move on to the design and direct comparison phase on the individual issues.
D. What were the expectations?
We have had a comparison with a reality distant from ours, with a state on the other side of the world, with a growing country that represents an important reality from an economic point of view.
We were invited to Vietnam to understand if the Vietnamese market could be interested in the services offered by Invisiblefarm, in our areas of development and in what terms, not only from a linguistic point of view, but also from a functional point of view, given that it is of a territory very distant from ours.
Q. What results have you brought?
We had the honor of learning and deepening our knowledge of this reality: this is the greatest result for us!
We went to Vietnam, made direct contact with this community, which warmly welcomed us and who presented the company vision to us. Now we just have to investigate their needs and understand which of our products and which of our services will be attractive to the Vietnamese market for the next few years.
Q. How has TSCAI support been useful?
Being an Italian reference in the field of Smart City and international visibility, TSCAI has played a fundamental role in building our relationship with AIC Group and in supporting the development of a growth program, as well as in other activities.
TSCAI is the first interlocutor who presented Invisiblefarm and our work to this great reality. It was not only a means of contact, or an intermediary, but a prestigious association that accompanied us, step by step, in the knowledge and discovery of this magnificent country.
