Venture building for innovation in cities is the first workshop organized by TSCAI and Venturerock Urban with the precious support of Urban Innovators Inc and ALOT.
It was held on March 30 in Casalago and involved a targeted group of professionals animated by the common desire to explore new methods of innovative development of cities.
After the welcome greetings of the President of TSCAI Angelo Bozza, we had the pleasure of listening to two speeches.
First Raffaele Gareri and then Bas Boorsma told us about the start-up studio formula and introduced us to Venturerock Urban Italy spa, the newly founded company that aims to support start-ups according to an innovative model.
A startup studio is an organization that specializes in the direct design and construction of new startups. This type of organization differs from the classic startup incubators or accelerators, as its focus is oriented towards the search for market opportunities and the solution of specific problems.
Venturerock Urban inherits from Venturerock a 72-step method to be applied to the development of startups that aim to improve our cities.
Following the two speeches, Raffaele Gareri and Roberta Cocco shared their vision on the evolution of the labor market and society in general with the guests. The interesting point of view of two professionals with a lot of experience in the private and public fields was a reason for exchanging opinions and visions with all those present.
The workshop concluded with a speech by Adriana Defina who dealt with the theme of technological innovation with a philosophical gaze, asking those present to reflect on the ethical, emotional and emotional aspects of innovation.
Afterwards, the guests were able to deepen the stimuli received over an aperitif which was an opportunity for discussion and networking.
TSCAI wants to propose this format of events aimed at sharing opinions and experiences among a selected group of professionals on defined topics.
We believe in exchanging experiences and visions to build conscious, effective and useful solutions for our cities in order to respond to citizens’ requests and society’s needs.
