Tools and innovative opportunities foreseen in the procurement code
Presentation
Purpose and main contents of the course – Are there any innovative ways of acquiring goods and services governed by the procurement code? How can we encourage dialogue between the public and private sectors to develop innovation projects and investments? How to get innovative services if you do not know the characteristics of the service you want to acquire? The course provides concrete answers to all these questions through the illustration of contractual instruments and selection procedures of the contractor, reinforced by practical examples of innovative paths already carried out by some local authorities for the development of smart services.
Recipients
Course objectives – Mayors, councillors, executives and officials of local authorities who want to start up innovative services in their territory but who do not have financial resources and / or specialized skills to develop procurement procedures aimed at acquiring smart city infrastructures and / or services.
Delivery mode
Method of provision – The basic course is about 4 hours on average and is provided to a group of no more than 8 people in order to allow personalization of contents. The dates and times are agreed and tendentially the course is delivered at a location indicated by the local authority.

Description of the distinctive elements – This is a tailor-made course, ie calibrated to the specific needs of the participants with a high level of personalization of the contents. Furthermore, the contents of the course are particularly aimed at providing an overview of examples of innovative procurement for the local authority that wants to experience smart city routes and digital agenda.
