The Scientific Committee of TSCAI has the privilege of the following members:
Raffaele Gareri is the President of the TSCAI Scientific Committee. Raffaele is one of the co-founders of TSCAI, he was Director of the PA first in the Province of Brescia and then in Roma Capitale. For three years he was President of ENTO (European Network of Training Organisations), an association of the Council of Europe. He was most recently Director of the Future Communities Program at Tiscali. Today he is CEO of Venturerock Urban Italy and Executive Director of Italy & Partners.
Adriana Defina has 25+ years of international experience in the Innovation Technology area. After her graduation in Computer Science engineering, she joins the Philips Speech Recognition department in Germany, taking part to one of the very first projects about voice recognition on mobile network. She then moves to France, for about 10 years, in Accenture, at Sophia Antipolis European Technology Park, working on digital transformation projects in several European countries. She continues at Genesys, as EMEA Head of Strategic Alliances.
Adriana is currently attending a Master in Philosophy of Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence, deeply sure about the need to add a humanistic dimension to the technological one, in order to correctly understand the revolution we all are living in.
Iacopo Testi is research affiliate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Senseable City Laboratory) where he conducts research at the intersection of urban sustainability, data science and artificial intelligence. In 2021, Iacopo was nominated “Spatial Data Scientist of the Year” by Carto, one of the global leaders in location intelligence. In October 2020, he was sponsored by the European Space Agency within its Network of Resources (NoR). He is currently advisor at URBAN AI, a think-tank that promotes the use of artificial intelligence for urban sustainability purposes, and earth observation data scientist at RHEA Group.
Angelo Di Gregorio Full Professor of Management at the University of Milan-Bicocca where he is also the Scientific Coordinator of the M3 Master – Master in Marketing Management and Director of the CRIET – Center for Interuniversity Research in Land Economics. In terms of research, he has always dedicated himself to the study of uniformity in business management with particular reference to the processes of internationalization, marketing, finance, and strategic evaluation. For more than thirty years, he has supported the business world and also collaborates with the Ministry of Economic Development in the areas of Oil & Gas and ENEA on public lighting and smart cities.
